To get ready for the 5th Annual Tour de Steamboat!
The Kent Eriksen Tour de Steamboat Century Ride joins forces with Prudential Steamboat Realty in a special effort to raise money for the Sunshine Kids Foundation. Along with the 110-mile ride, the event will also host a 40-mile bike ride out to beautiful Stagecoach Lake. All proceeds will go to the Sunshine Kids.
Prudential Steamboat Realty is the headlining sponsor for Friday night's benefit dinner on July 17th from 6:00 - 9:00pm at the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel. All proceeds from the dinner and Silent Auction will benefit the Sunshine Kids (www.sunshinekids.org). The evening will include live music, a pasta dinner, and silent auction. Plus, a Sunshine Kids Spokeskid will be on hand to share his/her experience as well as bike building legend Kent Eriksen from Eriksen Cycles. Eriksen Cycles will be donating a road frame (value $3,000) for a $10 ticket entry drawing to be held at the post ride BBQ at Little Toots park at 11th and Yampa in downtown Steamboat Springs, Saturday July 18th at 6:30pm. Drawing tickets are available for purchase at Prudential Steamboat Realty, located in Wildhorse Marketplace.
All rides start July 18th at 7:00am with an escorted roll out along River Road in downtown Steamboat Springs. Rides split off into respective distances after the group lead out. Following the event is an ongoing street party and BBQ. Participants are invited to bring the whole family to the post-ride feast. Live entertainment, food, beer and soft drinks are complimentary to riders; extra tickets can be purchased in advance.
