Angela Ashby

Angela's love for Colorado began at the age of 10, when her family made the first ski trip to Colorado from Tulsa, OK. At a very young age, she made a commitment to herself to move to Colorado. Even though she has been in Colorado for 16 years, she now feels as though she has reached her destination in Steamboat Springs. She now understands what others have called "The Yampa Valley Curse" and is excited to continue her sales career in this quickly changing real estate market and experience all of the great things that this community offers. She has her BBA in marketing and advertising from the University of Oklahoma and has spent most of her career in sales and management. Additionally, she has been involved in the start-up of three companies and loves the entrepreneurial spirit that is pervasive in Steamboat Springs. She has recently participated with the City of Steamboat Springs "Green Team". The Green Team is a group of citizens and local business people committed to researching, promoting and implementing sustainable energy strategies for the future of the community's quality of life. Among many things, it involves public education, recycling, building standards, incentives and more. As an alpine skier all of her life, she is excited to have the opportunity to try new methods of getting up or down the mountain and loves hiking, biking, reading, art, interior design and getting involved in the community.
