The 33rd annual Yampa River Festival and the Paddling Life Invitational are true Steamboat Springs, homegrown events celebrating the Yampa River and the amazing river recreation in downtown Steamboat Springs.

Friends of the Yampa organizes this River Festival which celebrates everything river. With kayaking races, rodeos and slaloms, raft racing, tube rodeo, river board demonstrations and the crowd favorite, the Crazy River Dog competition, the Yampa River Festival is an action packed couple of days (Friday - Sunday) that will get you fired up to get on the river.

All funds generated by the River Festival go to the Friends of the Yampa who organize this event and put on river clean ups, help with regional river planning and policy making and work to protect and enhance the Yampa River's environmental and recreational integrity through stewardship, advocacy, education and partnerships.

The YOUTH EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND
(Y.E.S.) provides 8 to 10 scholarships to graduating Routt County High School Seniors, an additional scholarship to one past recipient, and funding to high school groups working on attaining business skills.

To date, over $170,000 in total funding has been awarded.

Hit the ground running, jogging or walking through Steamboat Springs beautiful downtown area in support of our community, youth and Grand Futures Prevention Coalition programs. We will be holding and celebrating our 1st Annual Adventure 5k Scavenger Hunt!

Check-In and Registration: 8:00 am - 9:00 am

Race begins at 9:00 am

Pre-Register (until June 1st) for the event by visiting www.grandfutures.org/Adventure5k:

$100 registration for any Team of 4
$75 registration for any Family of 4 (at least 1 adult with kids under 16)

Late registration (June 2nd - June 8th), or day of registration:

$120 registration for any Team of 4
